Description We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This contract position involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within organizational systems and databases. Responsibilities: - Accurately input and update financial data into computer systems and spreadsheets. - Verify data entries for accuracy and consistency to ensure error-free records. - Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information in line with organizational policies. - Organize and manage records in both digital databases and physical filing systems. - Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or incomplete information. - Ensure compliance with data management procedures and standards. - Prepare reports and summaries based on entered data as needed. - Assist in streamlining data entry processes for improved efficiency. Requirements - High school diploma required; certifications in clerical or data management are advantageous. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word, as well as familiarity with database software. - Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities. - Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Effective communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors. - Prior experience in data entry or clerical roles is preferred. - Strong typing skills and numerical data entry capabilities. - Familiarity with maintaining data security and confidentiality protocols.
