Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our therapy team. The OT will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering effective therapy interventions that help patients achieve maximum independence in daily living activities. This is a float position , providing coverage across multiple facilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving daily living and mobility skills.
Provide direct patient care using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy plans and adaptive strategies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services and patient progress.
Ensure compliance with all facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Maryland.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehab, or related healthcare setting preferred.
Strong clinical, analytical, and communication skills.
Flexibility to float between assigned facilities as required.
