We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join our team on a 6 months contract basis. This role will support product execution by refining requirements, coordinating sprints, and facilitating cross-team alignment to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality features. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the dating app market, LGBTQ+ community, marketplace and subscription products, extensive experience in product management, and a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in a fast-paced environment.
Sprint & Delivery Management
Prepare and organize sprint planning in collaboration with the development team.
Ensure that requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria are well-defined.
Work closely with engineering and design teams to maintain sprint health and ensure smooth execution whilst communicating this consistently to all teams.
Track progress, surface risks, and proactively resolve blockers.
Requirement Gathering & Documentation
Define clear and detailed acceptance criteria for User Stories to ensure alignment with product goals.
Work closely with engineers to break down requirements into actionable development tasks .
Ensure that all acceptance criteria are well-documented and easily understood by the engineering team.
Quality Assurance & Release Readiness
Conduct QA testing to validate that features meet acceptance criteria before release.
Work with engineers and designers to identify and fix usability issues, edge cases, and defects .
Ensure early communication and visibility and smooth handoff to customer support and marketing for new feature rollouts.
Cross-Team Communication & Alignment
Provide regular updates on sprint progress, key decisions, and release timelines to relevant teams.
Serve as a liaison between engineering, design, marketing, and support teams to ensure alignment.
Be constantly and consistently updating specs in Notion and team knowledge in slack based on revisions and agreements during the product cycle
Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and syncs as needed.
