The Project Manager will plan and lead projects within large, multi-ministry initiatives, focusing on complex network architecture, telecommunications, video, VoIP, and audio/visual systems. They will manage client relationships, project teams, and provide guidance on the use of audio-visual and information technology in business planning. The role involves developing project charters, managing risks, providing leadership to project teams, and coordinating I&IT procurement.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead projects involving complex network architecture and audio/visual systems.
- Manage client relationships and partnerships with business areas.
- Manage project teams and provide guidance on the use of audio-visual and information technology.
- Develop project charters and master project plans.
- Identify and assess risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
- Provide leadership to project teams, external service providers, and contractors.
- Identify the impact of change and escalate to project sponsors for decisions.
- Provide specialized advice and expertise for business cases and submissions.
- Coordinate I&IT procurement and administer contractual agreements.
- Ensure finalization of functional design drawings.
- Ensure on-site system installation.
- Conduct quality assurance testing.
- Conduct system and functionality testing.
- Manage client handover (Commissioning) and client sign-off.
- Ensure vendor delivery of as-built and close-out packages.
- Conduct lessons-learned sessions.
- Deliver internal close-out packages.
- Participate in service review meetings.
