The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing general accounting duties, which includes, analyzing, researching, and preparing financial information and reports to meet specific daily and monthly deadlines.
What You'll Do:
Completes general accounting functions including research, report/spreadsheet preparation, and analysis.
Completes various month-end close tasks including calculation and preparation of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Prepares and analyzes accounting data by processing and interpreting accounts such as general ledgers and subledgers.
Prepares a nd reviews financial statements.
Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries and reports.
Carries out ad hoc reports/assignments as needed.
Ensures all financial schedules and deadlines are met.
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal departments.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University with degree in accounting required
0-3 years accounting experience
Strong understanding and working knowledge of US GAAP
Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
