Arena Staffing is a fast-growing talent solutions provider that connects top-tier analytics and data professionals with leading companies across the U.S. We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to join one of our enterprise clients on a fully remote, long-term engagement.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Tableau Developer with strong data visualization and dashboard development expertise to design, build, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports. This is a 100% remote position open only to candidates legally authorized to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and visualizations that deliver actionable business insights

Connect Tableau to various data sources (SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift, Excel, Google BigQuery, etc.)

Perform data modeling, create calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, and sets

Optimize dashboard performance and implement best practices for scalability and usability

Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Create and maintain technical documentation for dashboards and data sources

Conduct user training and provide ongoing support for end users

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau Server/Desktop and published content

Stay current with Tableau features and recommend innovative visualization techniques

Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience developing in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online

Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and cloud data warehouses

Proven track record of building production-ready, interactive dashboards

Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and principles

Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Must currently reside in the United States

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit required no sponsorship available)

Preferred Skills

Tableau Desktop Certified Professional or Specialist certification

Experience with Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or similar ETL tools

Knowledge of JavaScript, R, or Python for advanced Tableau integrations

Experience with Agile methodologies
